Our Team

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Day to Day Banking team. We are a team of Fujitsu Mainframe developers who design, build and support the current account and savings account core banking applications.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing, coding and delivering solutions on the Fujitsu Mainframe within agreed costs and timescales.
  • Participating in the on-call rota to ensure successful batch processing.
  • Supporting live service and driving the resolution of incidents.
  • Ensuring the quality of all deliverables and adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Actively contributing as a Fujitsu Mainframe development practitioner, leading by example, and sharing knowledge of our platform and applications.

We need you to have

  • Expert knowledge of Fujitsu mainframe development across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • An understanding of core banking applications within a complex end-to-end technical environment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure to support the resolution of incidents and urgent business requests.

These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
