Hybrid working: Striking the balance between working from home and collaborating in one of our hubs.  Some of our roles are remote so we've also introduced location-less recruitment which means we can find even more talent from around the UK.

Flex appeal: Our colleagues can choose when and where they work, to best suit customer needs.

You-time: Enjoy 30 days of annual leave, including bank holidays. (Pro-rata where relevant).

Unplug: Five well-being days a year to recharge (Pro- rata where relevant).

Family-time: Gender neutral family leave with 20 weeks off with full pay, for either parent or carer when starting or expanding their family – available from the first day of joining Virgin Money – and you can take it at any point during the child’s first two years.

"Hello, my name's Cara and I work for the CX Performance and Inclusion strategy team.

A Life More Virgin means I have greater flexibility and it takes the pressure off being a working mum. It allows me to take my little girl to preschool without feeling the stress of having to arrange any extra cover. It means I can enjoy those moments and not miss out on any of them. 

I think it gives our team the opportunity to work around the various priorities and pressures that we all have in life. It's empowered us to really look after each other and have honest conversations about what will work for us. For example, we've agreed as a team that we will avoid the normal school drop off of pick up times. We're also trying to avoid meetings between four and five o'clock as that's a busier time in our home environments.
