Our Business Operations team is the driving force behind Virgin Money’s Unsecured Lending division. We're engine room behind our credit card business, driving end-to-end delivery, ensuring seamless customer journeys, and powering the systems that make smarter lending possible. We’re the experts who keep the wheels turning smoothly, managing everything from day-to-day operations and process optimisation to risk controls, regulatory compliance, and the integration of new technologies.

"My work involves being a Subject Matter Expert on Projects relating to Credit Cards and I work with Credit Card systems such as Tsys/TS2 & FIS / B2K. Working with the systems is one element of the role, but I also have to showcase the features and capabilities they provide in order to offer informed suggestions and options before moving towards delivery. It's important to be self-motivated and look for opportunities where you can make a difference to the customer, for example, looking why customers card transactions are declined and if there are any changes that can be made. This includes undertaking the analysis, presenting a paper to stakeholders before getting the go-ahead to lead to implementation. To be successful in this role, you need to be able to liaise with people of all levels, from informal chat and putting techie speak into plain English to presenting a paper. There’s also building relationships with our third-party Suppliers FIS, Tsys, Broadcom & Mastercard.
